On the 8th of July 2010 we recieved a call to pick up a German Shepard in Idas Valley who's head was stuck in a concrete block since the previous night. She was in an appaling condition and was carefully brought to the shelter.
With good medical care, Concrete as she was now known, started on her road to recovery with a new family patiently waiting for her to get stronger.
They named her GULA, after the god of healers, whose sacred animal is a dog, according to Greek Mythology.
